CrossFit Stride is an affiliate (chain) of CrossFit among 12,000 others around the globe.

How It Works

At CrossFit Stride, we run our sessions in a group setting, which last an hour, and include warm up, skill, WOD (workout of the day), and cool down. WOD is generally a short (usually less than 20 minutes) individual or team workout which works your entire body. It consists of gymnastic/body weight exercises such as jumping, rope climb, burpees; weight lifting exercises such as squats, clean and jerk, kettle bell training, tyre flips; and other cardiovascular exercises such as running and skipping. All the members will receive personalized coaching and nutrition counseling by CrossFit HQ, US certified trainers.

At CrossFit Stride, safety of our members is paramount to us. We believe in getting prolonged results and hence, we ensure that members don’t exercise without proper form, or lift heavier than their physical ability.
We believe in training with natural functional exercises such as running, jumping, climbing and throwing. We recommend you to eat natural to reach your goals. Therefore we don’t endorse crash diet or recommend supplements. In fact, we will educate you about nutrition and balancing your meals to reach your respective goals. Our goal is to help you have longer, healthier, happier, more amazing lives.
We strive to create a strong community of like-minded individuals who will work hard together to get fit. Our environment and culture is such that everyone helps each other to get better day by day. Be a part of something bigger than yourself!

Meet our Trainers


Himanshu Bathla

Manager, Head Coach

Himanshu has been quite active in his youth playing several sports at school and state level. In 2011, he was introduced to CrossFit by his friend and colleague in Chile, who was also a CrossFit Regionals Games competitor for South America. His first CrossFit workout (which was burpees btw) made him realize how out of shape he was even after being so regular to the gym. After only a few months, he started feeling stronger both physically and mentally, his energy levels were up, and not only he looked better but also felt so much healthier.

He experienced a community where everyone works so hard and yet enjoys it, where everyone is helping each other to get better. He discovered that the ‘challenge attached to CrossFit’, ‘constantly varied workouts’ and ‘its community aspect’ is what makes it so effective. After returning back to India in 2012, Himanshu decided to share his beautiful experience with others. After two years, he opened ‘CrossFit Stride’ with a dream to help people achieve fitness that will last long. He has worked hard to make the box a second home for members– a place where people can come to workout, learn new skills, and have fun.

His other experiences include working as a business analyst for Evalueserve and completing his degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi.

Mathew Paul Vadakkel

Coach

Mathew, an Alumni of The Shri Ram School, Aravali Gurgaon, represented his school football team at multiple inter-school football tournaments. Later on while completing his degree in Business Management in Singapore, he went on to play football at the Asian subsidiary school of legendary English football club, Arsenal F.C. In addition to sports, he also trained with the university Muay Thai Boxing team. Unfortunately, both Muay Thai and Football being contact sports, Mathew sustained multiple injuries and had to give them both up. He then focused on a career in Corporate leading to a major deterioration to his fitness.

Although, he continued his Martial Arts training through Kickboxing & Brazilian Jiu-jitsu to keep fit, he struggled to retain the levels of fitness he once possessed. Introduced to CrossFit, Mathew immediately saw the positive influence on his skill, strength and conditioning, which applied very well back to his martial arts training too. Over time he decided he would like to adopt CrossFit as a part of his career so others like him could experience resurgence in their fitness. Soon after which, he proceeded to complete his CrossFit L1 Trainers Certification. Today, with over three years of CrossFit Experience under his belt he shares coaching & training responsibilities at CrossFit Stride.

SATURDAY: OPEN GYM

On Saturdays, we are open for everyone (members and non members) from 8:00 –  10:00 AM & 5:00 – 8:00 PM. Every Saturday, we host a short seminar/knowledge sharing session where we educate our members and address queries regarding exercise, nutrition, recovery, mobility, travel workouts, sleep, etc.
